CQJP 2015 is around the corner....

It's time for
It's time for me to begin the planning for the next Crazy Quilt Journal Project Challenge....
Registration will open this November...and I'm open to any idea you might have to "tweek the challenge".

I have some ideas of my own....
-- changing the block size
-- requireing a specific shape
--including patterns to use as an option

So I'd love to hear your ideas before establishing the rules for this next year.

Just email your ideas to me...or include a comment below if you prefer.

I can't promise I will use all of them...but I will consider all of them in my final decisions.

Hugs!

  1. sounds interesting, sorry no ideas, was thinking I would give it a miss next year but maybe I will join in again, will see what everyone suggests.

  2. I was so sorry that it was more I could handle with the suffrage quilt to finish. I really missed it. I was looking forward to next year. Personally I like it the way it is but will wait to see what you come up with.. I am "sorta" flexible. I could handle a smaller block but probably not a larger one.. Hugs Ger

  3. I'm not suggesting anything - we already kind of discussed it, but even though this year will not be a completed project, I have ideas for what I want to do for next year! Whatever you come up with, I'll fit it in.

This year has moved my project along - almost doubling the number of blocks I had, but life got in the way of a completion. Still, I'm happy to have made progress and will send a photo of the next finished block in a few days. Just one corner and a little beading to go!

  4. I gave this year a miss as I was not satisfied with what I was doing and did not know how to put it right. But thanks to your beginners and intermediate course I am up for anything. Thank you.

  6. Hi Kathy whatever you throw out there I am game. I make a bigger square anyway. I tried the smaller ones and just can't pile enough "stuff" on them don't laugh now. I will play again. I make books out of mine and maybe in 100 years or 200 someone will enjoy them. Hugs and you are such a dear for doing this. xoxoxo
